Mexican steelworkers go on strike

Mexican steelworkers have stopped the production at Ispat Mexicana and three mills owned by Villacero group. Mexico's National Mining, Mineral Associations and similar workers Union has initiated strike on August 1 over a wage dispute between Villacero and the union. Ispat Mexicana and the three companies have collective labour agreement. Ispat stated that the strike possibly has a negative effect on financial conditions.
