Mexican iron pellet production down in November

Mexican iron pellet production in November decreased 19.3 percent, year-on-year, according to data released by local statistics agency, Inegi.

According to Inegi, local iron pellet production in November was 450,501 mt, 19.3 percent down, year-on-year, and 17.7 percent down, month-on-month, from 547,526 mt in October 2018.

Inegi said the nation’s mining and metals production index in November increased 3.2 percent, month-on-month, but fell 2.6 percent, year-on-year.
