Mexican iron pellet output slightly increases in November

Mexican iron pellet production in November increased by a slight 0.1 percent, year-on-year, according to data released by the country’s statistics agency, Inegi.

Inegi said local iron pellet production reached 584,374 mt in November, 11.3 percent up, month-on-month.

According to government data, Mexican iron pellet production for the accumulated period of January to November slightly improved 0.3 percent, year-on-year.

The country’s mining and metals production index in November grew 3 percent, month-on-month, but decreased 0.1 percent, year-on-year.
