Mexican iron pellet output declines in June

Mexican iron pellet production in June decreased 3.8 percent, year-on-year, to 593,364 mt, according to data released by the nation’s statistics agency, Inegi. Production in June rose 3.1 percent, month-on-month, from 575,334 mt in May 2019.

Mexican iron pellet production in H1 dropped 2.1 percent, year-on-year.

The Mexican mining and metals production index in June fell 2.4 percent, month-on-month, but rose 0.3 percent, on a year-on-year basis.
