Metinvest plans to invest $8.8 billion in modernization projects until 2030

During the International Metallurgical Forum held in Kiev on October 2, Ukrainian mining and steel producing group Metinvest has stated that it plans to invest $8.8 billion in the modernization of its production capacity until 2030, according to media sources.

The company’s marketing director Roman Kurashev stated that the modernization projects will include the company’s metallurgical and mining assets. The greater part, $5.7 billion, will be invested in its metallurgical assets, while the remaining $3.1 billion will be invested in mining assets.
