Metallurgical Arrigoni to build Chile’s first wind tower manufacturing plant

The Latin American Wind Energy Association (LAWEA) reported that Chile-based steel fabricator Metallurgical Arrigoni will build South America's first wind turbine manufacturing facility.

The new plant will be built in Quilicura, in Chile's Santiago province, near Metallurgical Arrigoni's existing 20,000 metric ton capacity fabrication location.
