According to latest reports, LNM Group has declared today that they submitted an offer through LNM Holdings N.V. for assets of Polish steel plate producer Huta Czestochowa and shares of Huta Stali Czestochowa (HSC). Furthermore, LNM Group, which is one of the world's largest steel makers, added that they are also interested in certain subsidiaries of Huta Czestochowa. With this offer it is obvious that the group, already having interests in Kazakhstan, Romania and Czech Republic, is determined to further strengthen its existence in Central and Eastern Europe.
