L.B. Foster announces acquisition of Interlocking Deck Systems International

Pittsburgh-based L.B. Foster Company Monday announced the purchase of another Pittsburgh-based company, Interlocking Deck Systems International (IDSI).  L.B. Foster paid $6.97 million for the acquisition, which was finalized on March 23.

L.B. Foster specializes in rail, construction and tubular products, and operates individual business units that manage manufacturing, distribution and sales facilities nationwide.

IDSI is a manufacturer of welded and weldless steel bridge decking and other related grating products.
