Kuzbassrazrezugol to raise coal output by 6.5 percent in 2010

Russian coal mining company Kuzbassrazrezugol has announced that in 2010 it plans to increase its coal output by 6.5 percent year on year to 49 million metric tons, following the recovery of demand for its products. 

Kuzbassrazrezugol's production plan for 2009 has targeted an output of 46 million metric tons of coal, including 2.05 million metric tons of coking coal.

In 2008, Kuzbassrazrezugol produced more than 50 million metric tons of coal, up eight percent on its production results for 2007.
