Kloeckner Metals to invest $11.3 million in South Carolina facility expansion

Kloeckner Metals, a Georgia-based producer-independent distributor of steel and metal products, announced today it is expanding its existing Greenville, South Carolina operations. To accommodate its continued growth, the company is planning to invest $11.3 million and create 19 jobs.

The company will be adding 50,000 square feet to its existing facility to house a new high-speed, 84-inch-wide slitting line capable of processing aluminum and advanced, high-strength steel.

Kloeckner Metals services more than 8,000 metalworking businesses throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Canada. The company ships carbon and non-ferrous metals from inventories stocked in over 50 locations throughout North America.
