Khuzestan Oxin Steel produces 29,000 mt of plate since mid-2009 commissioning

Iranian steelmaker Khuzestan Oxin Steel Co., the only wide plate rolling mill in the Middle East, has produced about 29,000 mt of plate since it was commissioned in the middle of 2009. This producer, based in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahwaz, has a nominal rolling capacity of 1,050,000 mt per year. In January this year, Khuzestan Oxin Steel announced that it had succeeding in producing steel plates of 4.5 m in width and 12 mm in thickness.
