Khouzestan Oxin Steel’s plate output rises by 11 percent

Iranian steelmaker Khouzestan Oxin Steel, the only wide plate rolling mill in the Middle East, produced 77,000 mt of steel plate in the first three months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), up 11 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).


Khouzestan Oxin Steel, which began production operations early in 2010, has a designed annual capacity of 1.05 million mt of steel plate.
