JSW Steel’s crude steel output up two percent in January

JSW Steel, one of the largest Indian steelmakers, produced 1.43 million mt of crude steel in January this year, increasing by two percent compared to 1.41 million mt recorded in the same month of 2020, the company stated in a press release.

In addition, during the same month the company produced 1.01 million mt of flat rolled products, decreasing by one percent, while it produced 359,000 mt of long rolled products, up by five percent, both year on year.
