JSW Steel to increase capacity to 40 million mt by 2025

Indian steelmaker JSW Steel has announced that, as part of its long-term strategy, it plans to expand its steelmaking capacity to 40 million mt by 2025. The company is considering both greenfield and brownfield investments, as well as acquisitions, to achieve capacity expansion.
 
JSW Steel stated that its expansion projects, including the project at its Salem plant, will be implemented in phases.
