JISCO to produce over 3.7 million mt of carbon steel plate in 2011

Gansu Province-based Chinese steel company Jiugang Steel Group Co. (JISCO) has said that in the current year up to December 10 it produced 3.5012 million mt of carbon steel plate, slightly exceeding its target for the whole year. The carbon steel plate output of JISCO for the whole of the current year is now expected to be 3.7021 million mt. The current annual carbon steel plate output capacity of the steel producer is 4 million mt.

In the current year, JISCO has successfully developed products such as alloy plate with high aluminum, zinc and silicon content, ultra-low carbon interstitial-free (IF) steel plate, and DX51D+Z galvanized plate for application in home appliances.
