Jiangsu Province-based steel producer Jiangyin UnionSteel, released its July ex-factory prices for hot dip galvanized coil (HDG), Al-Zn coated coil and color coated coil on July 3, 2007.
The ex-factory price of hot dip galvanized coil remained unchanged compared with last month. 0.5 mm thick HDG is still at RMB 6,840/mt ($901/mt), while that of 1.0 mm thick HDG is at RMB 6,420/mt ($846/mt).
Meanwhile, the ex-factory price of Al-Zn coated coil also remained unchanged month on month, with 0.5 mm thick Al-Zn coated coil at RMB 7,500/mt ($988/mt).
Unlike HDG and Al-Zn coated products, the ex-factory price of color coated coils decreased sharply by RMB 400/mt ($53/mt) compared with June. After the adjustment, the price of 0.476 mm thick color coated coil decreased to RMB 7,300/mt ($962/mt).
17 percent VAT is included in all prices.
