Japan determined to push for cancellation of S201 sanctions

Upon the preliminary ruling by the World Trade Organisation (WTO) against the legality US S201 safeguard measures, Japanese officials expressed that they would keep on insisting on the cancellation of these sanctions. As stated by an official from Japanese Trade Ministry, Japan will keep its stance against the S201 sanctions and will continue to put pressure on necessary units for the removal of these tariffs.
