ITC decision on AD, CVD duties on SSSS from 8 countries
The US International Trade Commission (ITC) yesterday determined that revocation of the existing countervailing and antidumping duty orders on
stainless steel sheet and strip from
Germany,
Italy,
Japan,
Korea,
Mexico and
Taiwan would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US market, but that revocation of the existing antidumping duty orders on the same product from
France and United Kingdom would not.
As a result of the ITC's decision and the Department of Commerce's (DOC) affirmative findings, the existing orders on imports of
stainless steel sheet and strip from
Germany,
Italy,
Japan,
Korea,
Mexico and
Taiwan will remain in effect, while the existing duties on the same product from
France and the
UK will be revoked.
