ITC affirmative determinations on remand for WR case

The United States International Trade Commission (ITC) announced determination of reasonable indication that a US industry is materially injured due to the imports of carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Egypt, South Africa and Venezuela that are sold at less than fair value. In October 2001, ITC terminated the wire rod anti-dumping investigations by making negligibility determinations for those of imports from above countries. However in June 20, 2002 the US Court of International Trade (CIT) requested ITC to reconsider its determinations. As a result of these reconsiderations ITC found affirmative determinations of sales at less than fair value. ITC remand determination will be delivered to the CIT by August 2, 2002.
