Italian steel pipe producer Sideralba Spa, a subsidiary of Rapullino Group located in Acerra (Naples), is currently implementing projects aimed at increasing its output capacity.
By the beginning of 2011 the company in question will launch a new production line for ERW steel pipes of 2" diameter and up to 4 mm thickness, while in 2012 another line for ERW steel pipes of 8" diameter and up to 10 mm thickness will be commissioned. In addition, also in 2012, Sideralba will commission a new slitter. All the machinery and equipment will be supplied by Italian plantmaker OTO MILLS.
"In 2008 the managing board approved a five-year development plan, deciding to expand the facilities from 34,000 to 50,000 square meters and to boost the output capacity from 125,000 to 225,000 metric tons per year. Despite the global crisis, the company is keeping faith with its plans," said Luigi Rapullino, CEO of Sideralba.
