Italy’s crude steel output rises by 46 percent in August

According to the figures released by the Italian steel producers' association Federacciai, in August this year Italian crude steel output rose by 45.7 percent year on year, reaching 1.09 million metric tons.

Federacciai has also released Italy's long and flat steel output data for July this year. Accordingly, in July this year Italy's long steel output was down one percent year on year, reaching 1.07 million metric tons.

On the other hand, in July the country's flat steel output amounted to 969,000 metric tons, increasing by 10.5 percent year on year.
