Isfahan Steel Complex to increase capacity

Isfahan Steel Complex is planning to increase its production capacity by 5 million tons the end of next fiscal year. The expansion will be materialized in three phases and financed by the domestic resources. The expansion plan's first phase was implemented last year with a production of 700'000 tons of steel sheets per year. In second phase, the company will increase total capacity to 5 million tons. The plan is expected to cost $650 million in total.
