Iran's steel capacity expected to increase

Once the Iran's Comprehensive Steel Plan is fully implemented, the country's steel production capacity is expected to reach 29 million ton, said the executive director of the National Iranian Steel Company. Excutive director also added that the projected figure can be realized within methodical execution of Fourth Socio-Economic and Cultural Development Plan. Iran's current steel production stands at around 13 million tons per year.
