Iran breaks ground for rolling mill in Aras Free Zone

On Monday, December 15, a formal groundbreaking ceremony was held for the construction of the first rolling mill in the Aras Free Zone. The new mill will have an annual capacity of 200,000 mt per year and is to be constructed within a two-year period.

Aras Free Zone is located in the northwestern Iranian province of East Azerbaijan, close to Iran's borders with Armenia and Azerbaijan.
