The managing director of Iran Alloy Steel Co., Mr. Hokmollah Babai, has announced that during the past Iranian year 1385 (ended March 20, 2007), the company produced 198,700 metric tons of alloy steel (carbon steel, spring steel, free cutting steel, micro-alloy steel, hot worked tool steel, heat treatable steel, cast hardening steel) - 20,000 metric tons of which was exported.
Iran Alloy Steel Co. is a state-owned steel plant located in Yazd city (Central Iran) and has an annual production capacity of 140,000 metric tons.
The company specializes in the production of alloy steel bars (round, flat, square and hexagonal) and of ingots.
