India’s RINL sees 40% rise in finished steel sales in H1 FY 2023-24

Indian state-run steel producer Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited has reported total finished steel sales of 1.95 million mt during the first half (April-September) of the fiscal year 2023-24, up 40 percent year on year, a company statement said on Monday, October 9.

The company said that this was the highest-ever sales of finished steel achieved since the inception of the steel mill.

RINL’s sales of wire rod during the first half was reported at 364,000 mt, structural steel sales amounted to 223,000 mt and value-added steel sales came to 682,000 mt, all indicating the highest-ever first half sales performance over the corresponding period in previous fiscal years.
