Barely ten days after resuming operations, Indian state-run KIOCL Limited has once shut down its 3 million mt per year capacity iron ore pellet plant located in Mangalore in the southern state of Karnataka, a company statement said on Thursday, October 26.

The company said that non-availability of iron ore fines forced the closure of the plant.
