India not to introduce control mechanism on steel prices
Indian sources report that the Indian government does not intend to introduce a control mechanism on steel and iron ore prices since the subject goods are governed by market forces. Regarding the subject, Steel Minister Mr. Ram Vilas Paswan said, “The prices of iron ore as well as steel are deregulated and are governed by market forces. There is no proposal for introducing price control mechanism.”
