India forms an expert group for steel prices

According to recent news in the news, Indian Steel Ministry has recently formed a working group consisting of experts to develop a mechanism to check steel prices in the country, especially steel used in construction. As previously reported by SteelOrbis, Steel Minister Ram Vilas Paswan announced that a regulatory body would be formed for monitoring and stabilizing steel prices. Steel Minister also stated that the government does not intervene in prices however it tries to help steel producers to provide sufficient availability.
