In the January-March period this year, China’s excavator output amounted to 70,437 units, down 6.3 percent year on year, 6.1 percentage points lower compared to the decrease recorded in the January-February period, as announced by National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In March alone, China’s excavator output came to 29,746 units, down 13.5 percent year on year.

The ongoing poor performance in China’s real estate sector has continued to exert a negative impact on domestic excavator output.
