The Indian customs authorities have issued an official notification on the specifications of certain cold rolled stainless steel coils imported from China, Japan, South Korea, EU, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand and the US which have been subject to antidumping duty since February 20, 2010.
As stated in the notification, "(a): Width tolerance of (+) 30 mm shall apply to mill-edged cold rolled flat products of stainless steel of specified width of 1,000 mm or more but not exceeding 1250 mm.
(b): Width tolerance of (+) 4 mm shall apply to trim-edged cold rolled flat products of stainless steel of specified width exceeding 1,000 mm but not exceeding 1,250 mm."
