The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Wednesday the final results of its expedited sunset review of the antidumping (AD) orders on standard pipe from Brazil, India, Korea, Mexico, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey and the countervailing duty (CVD) order on standard pipe from Turkey.
As expected, the DOC made affirmative determinations, finding that revocation of this order would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping and/or subsidization.
The US International Trade Commission (ITC) is conducting a full sunset review of this order, and a negative injury determination by the ITC will result in revocation of the order, regardless of the DOC's determination.
