Hunan Valin Xiangtan Steel is CSSC’s biggest shipbuilding plate supplier

On September 27, Sun Wei, assistant president of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) stated that Chinese steelmaker Hunan Valin Xiangtan Iron and Steel Co. is the largest supplier of shipbuilding plate for CSSC. In the January-August period of this year, CSSC purchased 542,000 mt of shipbuilding plate from the steelmaker, higher than in the corresponding period of last year.
