High added value wire rod output exceeds 1 mmt in Shougang
According to Shougang Daily, the
production of
wire rod with high added value in Shougang exceeded one million metric tons by the end of October.
Through the first ten months, the cumulative output of quality
wire rod was 1.8752 million metric tons, up 64800 metric tons compared to the prior year. High added value products made up two-thirds of the output, of which specialty products like 82B and alloy bonding
wire accounted for 1.022 million metric tons. High added value products experienced an increase of 2 percent year on year, while specialty products jumped 20 percent.
