Henan Province-based Chinese pipe producer Henan Huifeng Pipe Co. has announced that it has started trial production at its new 340 mm diameter seamless pipe production line, which constitutes the third phase of its overall seamless pipe production project. The new production line has a designed annual output capacity of 200,000 mt.
Henan Huifeng Pipe Co. started to invest in its overall seamless pipe project in 2008. In March 2011, it initiated an investment of RMB 600 million ($94.6 million) in the second phase of the project, building a 273 mm diameter seamless pipe production line with an annual output capacity of 200,000 mt. With the completion of the overall project, the total annual seamless pipe output capacity of Henan Huifeng Pipe Co. is 600,000 mt, with an estimated annual output value of RMB 3 billion ($473 million).
