Internationally based Harsco Corporation, an industrial services and engineered products company, announced Friday that its subsidiary Harsco Metals Group has renewed two multi-year contracts with steelmaker Ternium Mexico, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ternium S.A., totaling more than $225 million in projected revenues.
The contracts, each close to 10 years in duration, extend Harsco's services with Ternium Mexico at its two Monterrey operations, Guerrero and Apodaca.
Harsco Metals provides Ternium's Guerrero and Apodaca plants with onsite scrap management, slag management, slag handling, metal recovery services, as well as mineral and direct reduced iron (DRI) handling services.
