Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Handan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd (Handan Steel), a subsidiary of major Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group, has announced that it has recently received new export orders for a total of 25,000 mt of galvanized products, including 16,000 mt of galvanized steel plate in thicknesses ranging from 0.5 mm to 2.0 mm and 9,000 mt of pre-painted galvanized iron in specifications of 0.4 mm to 1.0 mm.
In July, Handan Steel exported 5,000 mt of pre-painted galvanized iron to Italy and 16,000 mt of galvanized steel plate to Brazil and the UK. In addition, it had also received orders for 18,000 mt of galvanized products to be exported in August.
