In August this year, Hebei-based Chinese steelmaker Handan Steel, a subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, received an order for the export of a total of 18,000 mt of processed cold rolled steel products to Italy, including color coated sheets and hot dip galvanized plates, with 5,000 mt of the total consisting of 20 specifications of color coated sheets (white-gray, red and brown). Meanwhile, also in August, the company received orders totaling 11,600 mt for the export of thin galvanized plates (thickness≤0.6 mm) and also S450GD+Z cold-based high-strength galvanized plates to the United Kingdom and Brazil.
In July this year, the company exported 5,000 mt of color coated sheets to Italy, and 16,000 mt of hot dip galvanized plates to United Kingdom and Brazil.
