In November this year Germany's crude steel output amounted to 3.45 million metric tons, decreasing 6.6 percent from the previous month and down 10 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, according to the information provided by the German steel federation Wirtschaftsvereinigung Stahl (WV Stahl).
Meanwhile, in the January-November period of this year, Germany's crude steel production reached 41.3 million metric tons, rising by 1.5 percent as compared to the corresponding period of last year.
On the other hand, in October this year Germany's total hot rolled steel product output amounted to 3.1 million metric tons, decreasing 2.7 percent year on year, including 1.95 million metric tons of flat steel products - down 10.1 percent year on year, and 1.15 million metric tons of long steel products - up 13.2 percent year on year.
