German construction sector output down 5.3% in Oct from Sept

According to the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, in October this year the price, calendar and seasonally adjusted production index in Germany's manufacturing industry was down 2.6 percent compared to the previous month, following a revised 1.3 percent decrease in September compared to August.

In October this year, production in the German construction sector declined by a significant 5.3 percent compared to September. On the other hand, the production of capital goods increased by 4.3 percent, while intermediate goods fell by 1.1 percent in Germany, both compared to the previous month.
