Georgetown Steel to reopen next week

As reported by SteelOrbis, International Steel Group was selected as the winner of the tender held for the sale of assets of Georgetown Steel. The acquisition was completed after court approval on June 17, 2004. It is reported that, now Georgetown Steel is getting prepared for reopening. The new name of the company will be ISG-Georgetown Inc. It is reported that forty workers have been called back to work so far. After preparation works, it is expected that the company will be operational next week and ISG to employ 400 workers.
