Gazprom to increase purchases of LD pipes in 2011

In 2011, Russian gas company Gazprom plans to increase purchases of large diameter pipes by 30 percent to 2.1 million mt compared to 2010, due to the implementation of strategic gas-transport projects. So far this year, 1.9 million mt of large diameter pipes have been shipped to Gazprom.
 
The main suppliers of large diameter pipes to Gazprom are Russian pipe producers TMK, OMK and ChTPZ Group
