Gazprom announces results of RUB 67.8 billion pipe supply tender

Russian state gas monopoly Gazprom has announced the results of the tender for the purchase of large diameter (LD) pipes for 2015-16 for the construction of Gazprom's major gas transmission project Power of Siberia. The value of the tender was RUB 67.8 billion ($1.086 billion).

In accordance with the terms of the tender, 163,900 mt of LD pipes will be delivered up to the second quarter of 2016.

In particular, Vyksa Steel Works, a part of Russia-based OMK Group, will supply pipes for the total amount of RUB 16.52 billion ($264.93 million), ChTPZ will supply pipes worth RUB 13.8 billion ($221.46 million), Izhora Pipe Mill, a part of Severstal's Russian Steel division, will supply RUB 13.5 billion ($216.5 million) worth of pipes, TMK will supply pipes with a value of RUB 12.647 billion ($202.86 million), while Pipe Innovation Technologies will supply pipes worth RUB 11.333 billion ($181.68 million).
