As of October 25 this year, overall domestic inventories of the five main finished steel products in China totaled 8.56 million mt, down 770,000 mt or 0.9 percent month on month, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).
In particular, as of the given date, domestic inventories of hot rolled coil (HRC), cold rolled coil (CRC), common medium plate, wire rod and rebar amounted to 1.475 million mt, 1.49 million mt, 1.04 million mt, 930,000 mt and 3.63 million mt, respectively rising by 1.3 percent, 2.51 percent and 6.15 percent and declining by 4.52 percent and 3.93 percent month on month.
