As of May 25, overall domestic inventories of the five main finished steel products in China totaled 8.1160 million mt, down 202,757 mt or 2.44 percent month on month, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).
In particular, as of the given date, domestic inventories of hot rolled coil (HRC), cold rolled coil (CRC), common medium plate, wire rod and rebar amounted to 1.4504 million mt, 1.4365 million mt, 955,200 mt, 838,600 mt and 3.4354 million mt, up 0.56 percent, up 7.36 percent, rising by 3.46 percent, down 8.36 percent and decreasing by 7.15 percent month on month, respectively.
