Explosion at Greece's Corinth coating plant

The Greek steel producing and coating mill Corinth Pipeworks S.A. has recently suffered an explosion in the plant. It is believed that the explosion is most probably related to the propane deposit for the gas used in the process. SteelOrbis understands that the explosion is serious with 7 people reported dead so far. A couple of people are missing and others are seriously injured. Corinth pipe coating plant, located in Corinth, is involved in coating steel pipes of medium and large diameters Ιts products are mainly intended for pipes of liquid or gaseous fuel pipelines.
