Evraz to form JV with Mitsui to develop coal deposit

Russian steelmaker Evraz Group announced plans to build a joint venture with Mitsui to develop the Denisovskoe coking coal deposit in Russia's Yakutia region, sources reported. The joint venture will invest $260 million to produce 2.4 million metric tons of coking coal per annum. The total output of the deposit is planned to be exported to Asia.
