The European Commission has transferred the quotas under “other countries” and “all third countries” which were unused between February 2 and March 31 to the “other countries” quotas for the April 1-June 30 period as of May 2.

Accordingly, an additional volume of 19,704 mt has been added to the “other countries” rebar quota, which had been quickly used up in early April when the “other countries” quotas became available to all countries. No additional quota has been transferred to wire rod or metallic coated sheet (section 4b).

Stainless wire rod and angles have received very small additional quotas of 185 mt and 257 mt, while the highest transfer has been made to quarto plate with 124,804 mt being added. An additional quota of 33,637 mt has been transferred to HRC, 42,072 mt has been transferred to metallic coated sheet (section 4a) and 21,289 mt has been transferred to CRC.
