EU believes in WTO for fighting US protectionism

The European Union expect the World Trade Organisation to sanction against US protectionist safeguard measures next year. According to reports from the industry, the EU trade commissioner Pascal Lamy is quoted to emphasize their expectations that necessary measures will be taken by the World Trade Organisation (WTO) in order to sanction the hefty US safeguard measures implemented in March of the year 2002.
