Edgen Corporation buys out Western Flow Products

Edgen Canada Inc. acquired the common stock of Western Flow Products Inc. on Friday, July 15. Operations at Western Flow will merge into Edgen Canada Inc., a subsidiary of Edgen Corporation. Dan O'Leary, President and CEO of Edgen Corporation stated, "This acquisition brings outstanding personnel to our organization and allows us to broaden the products available to our Canadian customers." Western Flow, headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, specializes in alloy pipe and components distribution, predominantly for oil and gas processing and power generation industries. Edgen Corporation is a leading global distributor of carbon and alloy pipes and components. Their diverse range of high-performance, highly-specialized products function primarily in energy, processing, and power industries. It owns and operates 16 facilities in North America as well as a European sales operation in Scotland.
